Besides the overall ranking, categories were also created to rate the diets by Best Weight-Loss Diets, Best Heart-Healthy Diets, and Best Diabetes Diets, To be top-rated, a diet had to be relatively easy to follow, nutritious, safe, and effective for weight loss and against diabetes and heart disease.
