DermaNew Anti-Aging Review

DermaNew was created when two Beverly Hills salon owners, Amby Longhofer and Dean Rhoades, started offering microdermabrasion at home kit to their clients. Both Amby and Dean wanted to provide a less expensive option and one that clients could use at home. The DermaNew line was introduced to the clients at the salon and tested out with very positive results DermaNew has since expanded their company from only the microdermabrasion system to anti-aging products as well. The DermaNew line offers skin care for a wide variety of skin types, including those with sensitive skin, blemish prone skin, dry skin or combination skin. Its skin care products also cover from cleanser, exfoliants, masks, eye cream and gel to toner, sunscreen, lighteners, night cream and microdermabrasion systems.

DermaNew offer three microdermabrasion systems — Facial Rejuvenation System (5 piece) $70, Total Body Experience Kit 9 piece $80 and i-ntelligent Microdermabrasion System. DermaNew i-ntelligent Microdermabrasion System – Original Formula (4 piece) is very affordable microdermabrasion at home kit. This kit sells for $40. It has 4 pieces: sponge Applicator, Crystal Microdermabrasion Creme, i-skin Resurfacing Tool, and battery. You can purchase replacement collections to replace individual items in the kit.

DermaNew has few other anti-aging products such as Replenishing Night Creme (1.5 fl oz.), Firming Eye Creme. Replenishing Night Creme is a moisturizer aims to restore youthfulness as you sleep. This product contain a few of NMF (natural moisturizing factors) and some botanical ingredients.

There is a full list of ingredients for each product. There are parabens in all of the products. Parabens, which are artificial preservatives, have been linked to skin irritations and contact dermatitis for some individuals with allergies. There doesn’t seem to be any clinical trials or scientific evidence to back up its other anti-aging product. The anti-aging cream does not contain proven anti-wrinkle ingredients like matrixy, sodium hyaluronate and argireline. We were unable to locate information about a money back guarantee or customer testimonials on the DermaNew website. While the microdermabrasion kits might be an effective way to exfoliate the skin at home, consumers might want to consider other products to diminish the appearance of wrinkles.
